Dr. Vijay Kiran Sarvepally and his dear wife, Mrs. Shuly S, founders of VKS Apologia ministries, have committed to serving the Lord through a divine ordination and calling from above that they received in the year 2018, three years from the launch of VKS Apologia Ministries which began its journey on 21st September 2023, in the living room at their residence with a hand full of people mostly their immediate neighbors.
Over the years, they faithfully served their current church, occasionally venturing out to proclaim the gospel but never really considering planting a new church. Both were highly accomplished in their fields and believed it best to serve the Lord wherever He sent them. But God revealed to them repeatedly that He wanted them to start ministering apart from the local church, yet they still wouldn’t do it. They decided against going into the unknown and founding a church. However, things were not going as planned, and they had a strong sense that God was uprooting their nest, which was ministering through their comfort zone, and that something significant was about to happen to them.
Humble Beginning
Dr. Vijay and Shuly had the same vision from the Lord about starting a weekly bible study that would also serve as an intercessory prayer meeting. On September 21, 2023, six individuals (Dr. Vijay and Shuly, their two children, their parents, two non-believing neighbors, and two other Christian neighbors) gathered in their living room to begin the first of what would become regular prayer gatherings. Very soon, the news about the “One Hour Bible Study & Intercessory Prayer Meet” every Wednesday spread across the neighborhood, that the prayers offered there are being answered and non-christian neighbors have started coming to the prayer meet with their prayer requests and gracefully every supplication and intercessory prayers were being
Watching the small prayer group grow quickly was exciting, with new members joining each week. The Lord remembered His promise from second Chronicles 7:15: “My eyes will be open and my ears attentive to every prayer made in this place.” (NIV). Certainly, this promise came true as God blessed this small living room. Every prayer that was prayed in this room was answered: the sick were healed, the restless was finding peace in their hearts, sinners were saved, people started to see financial breakthroughs, broken relationships were healed, children did well in their exams, and the Lord’s doing was evident in the individual’s walk. Sharing testimonies strengthened our faith and calling. A tiny informal group quickly became a mid-size fellowship group.

Establishment of First of its kind recreational, research and revival worship centre “ARC” Apologia Resource Centre in the outskits of hyderbad spread across five aceres. A campus with Worship hall, guest rooms, Bible college, Hostel, Community halls and games and recreational areas and lush green landscape.
